The MN DNR is logging along County Roads 39 and 103.  This is part of the School Trust Lands to fund Minneosta Schools.  

What is being done:

Approximately 10.2 acres in all, includes the buffer areas as well

Approximately 128 cords of Oak

Approximately 49 cords of Aspen, plus assorted others

North side of 39 is mostly pine and will most likely be replanted

South side of 39 will be left to regenerate naturally.
